How to Get From Domlur to Electronic City: All Mapped Out!

A daily commute from Domlur to Electronic City via cab or auto can be hard on the pocket. If you choose BMTC buses instead, you can save some money, and save some carbon as well. Public transportation is a more planet-friendly mode of commuting.

In today’s #AllMappedOut, we’re going to take you through a commute from Domlur to Electronic City. We’ve got four options for you. Since there are no metro lines on this route yet, all four commutes use Bangalore’s BMTC bus services.

 

Option #1 – BMTC bus route no. MBS-8E

  • Start your commute by walking to the Dhoopanahalli bus stand. 
  • From there, catch bus route no. MBS-8E till the BHEL bus stop (Towards Electronic City Wipro Gate). That’s it — you’ve reached your destination!

Option #2 – BMTC bus route no. CVRN-INF

  • Once again, you’ve got to walk to the Dhoopanahalli bus stand. 
  • Once you’re there, catch bus no. CVRN-INF to the Siemens bus stop in Electronic City.

Option #3 – BMTC bus route no. DBS-MDL-AJA

  • First, you’ve got to walk to the Dr BR Ambedkar Bus Terminal in Domlur.
  • From this bus terminal, catch bus no. DBS-MDL-AJA till the BHEL bus stop (Towards Electronic City Wipro Gate). And you’ve reached your destination!

Option #4 – BMTC bus route no. DML-CPR

  • Again, start your commute by walking to the Dr BR Ambedkar Bus Terminal in Domlur.
  • From there, catch bus no. DML-CPR till the BHEL bus stop (Towards Electronic City).
