Just a hop, skip and jump away from the centre of this metropolitan city is Bannerghatta National Park. A small portion of it is designated as a zoological garden known as Bannerghatta Biological Park, one of Bangalore’s must-visit places. This tourist destination boasts of a zoo, a butterfly conservatory, an aquarium, a snake park and more! Visitors can also go on a quick safari here too! It’s a great way to get a quick escape from the city with family and friends.

How to reach Bannerghatta National Park from Horamavu:

We’ve found four great public transport commute options for you:

Option #1: Using BMTC bus no. HMA-BSP-D10G and V-HBL-BNP

  • Depending on which is closer, make your way either to the Horamavu Agara Lake bus stand or the Horamavu Petrol Bunk bus stand.  
  • From Horamavu Agara Lake bus stand, catch bus no. HMA-BSP-D10G to Horamavu Signal.
  • Once you reach Horamavu Signal, make your way to the Horamavu Petrol Bunk bus stand. 
  • Hop on to bus no. V-HBL-BNP and get off at Bannerghatta National Park.

Option #2: Using BMTC bus no. KTNR-CVRHOSP and 411-B

  • Make your way to the Jayanthinagara bus stand. 
  • Take bus no. KTNR-CVRHOSP to B Channasandra Bridge (towards Tin Factory).
  • Next, catch bus no. 411-B from B Channasandra Bridge to Bannerghatta National Park.

Option #3: Using BMTC bus no. HMA-BSP-D10G, V-HBL-JGN and 500-CN

  • Get to Horamavu Agara Lake bus stand or Horamavu Petrol Bunk, whichever is closer to you. 
  • From Horamavu Agara Lake bus stand, take bus no. HMA-BSP-D10G to Horamavu Signal. 
  • Then, take bus no. V-HBL-JGN from Horamavu Petrol Bunk to Bannerghatta Circle. 
  • Finally, take bus no. 500-CN from Bannerghatta Circle to Bannerghatta National Park.

Option #4: Using BMTC buses and Namma Metro Green Line

  • Catch bus no. 294-C JTN-SBS from Jyothi Nagara to Indian Express. 
  • Head to Sampige Road Metro Station and take the green line metro to Silk Institute Metro Station. 
  • From there, get to Vajragiri Estate bus stand, and hop on to bus no. 215-Z to Bannerghatta Circle. 
  • And lastly, take bus no. 500-CN from Bannerghatta Circle to Bannerghatta National Park.

How to reach Bannerghatta National Park from Yelahanka:

Here are the top two public transport commutes for you:

Option #1: Using BMTC bus no. 401-JB and 365-M

  • At Palanahalli Gate, get on to bus no. 401-JB. You can deboard at NES Office. 
  • From there, board bus no. 365-M which will take you right up to Bannerghatta National Park.

Option #2: Using BMTC bus no. 297-A and V-365P-BNP

  • Once again, get to Palanahalli Gate bus stop. 
  • Hop on to bus no. 297-A and take it till Maharanis College. 
  • From Maharanis College, catch bus no. V-365P-BNP to Bannerghatta National Park.

How to reach Bannerghatta National Park from New BEL Road:

We’ve found three great public transport commute options for you on this route:

Option #1: Using BMTC and Namma Metro

  • Get into bus no. KIA-10A from MS Ramaiah Hospital and get off at Yeshwanthapura TTMC.
  • Hop on to the Namma Metro green line from Yeshwantpur Metro Station. 
  • Get off at Silk Institute Metro Station and make your way to the Vajragiri Estate bus stop. 
  • From there, get on to bus no. 215-Z till Bannerghatta Circle.
  • From Bannerghatta Circle, take bus no. 500-CN to Bannerghatta National Park.

Option #2: Using BMTC Bus no. K-2A and 365-M

  • Get to the MS Ramaiah Hospital bus stand. 
  • Catch bus no. K-2A to CBI (towards RT Nagara)
  • From CBI (towards Mehri Circle) get on to bus no. 365-M which will take you right to Bannerghatta National Park.

  • Once again, head over to MS Ramaiah Hospital bus stop. 
  • Hop on to bus no. K-2A, and get off at Canara Bank Hebbala.

  • From Majestic Bus Stand, AKA Kempegowda Bus Station, board bus no. C-365. 
  • Get off bus no. C-365 at Bannerghatta National Park.

  • Get on to bus no. V-365 at Majestic Bus Station/Kempegowda Bus Station. 
  • This bus will take you right up to Bannerghatta National Park.

  • At Kempegowda/Majestic Station, look for bus no. 365 SBS-BNP.
